The shutter fires, however when it is set to 1/15th of a second and slower it is lagging / inconsistent / sticking open momentarily. Unusual camera, I'm not sure if the top plate was painted or if it's original. The camera is not film tested but the shutter fires and the finder is excellent. The lens is the 50mm f. 3.5 Zeiss Jena Tessar T which is an excellent lens.
